Normally Audi takes quite a while to give a feedback on any application, acceptance or rejection.

You can call them and ask if you're too worried. They'll just say it'll take more time anyways. Audi is notorious for being very lazy in their decisions lol
antwortenI got a reply 15 days back saying that the process takes time. But no further communication from Audi.
Which positions did you people apply for?
I'm the guy who applied to vehicle safety. I will sign T-Rex in my further posts ;)

I got the same reply about 8 days back. No further info. The process goes like telephone interview and then AC right?

Yes. I asked someone how long does it normally take for the pre-selection process of the Audi Trainee programs, they said 2 to 3 weeks. So, doesn't look like good news for us lol.
antwortenBut this program might be highly competitive since the other big trainee program CAReer was ditched by Daimler this year.
antwortenIf I am not mistaken, this program was only for international students

Yes, you are right! CC is exclusively for internationals!

Not necessarily, just anyone who has an international university degree. Could also be German.

2-3 weeks from date of application?

W/o the interview. Yeah, it is very competitive, this can be expected ;) Good luck to those who got invitations :)
T-Rex
antwortenYes, even more competitive for people who applied from outside of Germany. Since they would have to sponsor flight costs, hotel etc.

You mean on 6th June? I applied for another position in the program but haven’t got any feedback yet.
Wish you good luck!
antwortenYes, I mean 05. Jun.
antwortenHi,
Did anyone have any reply or feedback from HR for AC or even telephone interview?
I applied for the position, Controlling Affiliated Company, but there's no contact at all.
Even I sent email to them, I couldn't get any reply from them.
Thanks
antwortenHi, I just had the controlling interview in Ingolstadt yesterday. They said the results will come later and the date for assessment center will also be postponed. I wonder how long the whole process will take but the HR lady seems to be very busy for interviews recently. Regarding the assessment center, does anyone know how to prepare for it and how it will be carried out? Thanks in advance!

How was the interview and what did they ask? was it in english? I will have one next week...
antwortenHi, i got the rejection from them one and a half day later after the interview (as they promised). The interview was all in English and the questions were basically general ones regarding your CV, (international) background and working experiences (e.g. internships). Questions like why you want to work at Audi and why you apply for the program are asked as well. Since i am not invited to the AC, no further information can be provided from my side. I wish you good luck and hope you make it to the AC :) Don't forget to share your experiences later!

I just learned about this forum and want to describe my application experience. I applied at the beginning of May and then got a refusal email in mid-June. Reason: "...applications from many qualified candidates, several of whom meet our set of requirements particularly well."
Almost a week later (June 20th) though I received a call (as well as an email) letting me know that the previous rejection email was a mistake. I was invited in an interview the following week (initially Friday, then changed to Monday the upcoming week and on Wednesday finally changed to Thursday). I was also given a date for the AC (10 of July). The interview process seemed relaxed and the technical questions (controlling related) very easy. (Probably because I have a 3-year pre-master experience in audit (BIG 4) and Telco.).
What made an impression on me though was that the interviewer (one of them) was late - more than 20 minutes and shortly left the room before the interview was done. Also one of the questions was whether I could fit at work with women, given "my culture and the religion in my home-country" (old statistics say that 70% of the population are muslims), "whether I agreed that women should have the right of work" and "whether they should have more and equal rights"? They thought I was a muslim too.
I tried to explain that first of all the information they have was somehow old- most of the people now are non-religious, that the Islam religion there, is not (at all) conservative and that, afterall I was not a muslim. Plus, I agreed and explained why I also thought equal rights for women were the only way forward. Furthermore, I also tried to focus on the fact that during my life I have worked and studied in several foreign countries for more than 7 years, such as US, Bulgaria, etc. Recently I have also done one of the top master programs here in Germany.
The rest of the interview was very smooth (even though long, ca. 1 hour) and at the end I left with a strong impression that they liked me. I was told I would get an answer, if not the next day (Friday) definitively the upcoming Monday. Yet Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday passed and no response. Thus I called (2 different people in the HR department - 1 of them the interviewer herself) but couldn't reach them. So I did send them an email on Friday asking them for a response because the AC day was the upcoming Tuesday. Lastly I got a response telling me that the AC wouldn't be on 10th of July anymore. But I would though get a final response on the 10th. And I did get a refusal today.
Overall, despite the disappointment I feel that I lost to many days and much valuable time - postponed my plans for a full week due to changing of interview days 3 days within a week, changing of AC day immediately before the AC day itself, and receiving the "No" answer only after calling several times and sending emails. A company in a very good industry but apparently not serious employees and the comp. culture lacks a lot.
antwortenIt seems that the application procedure is not well organized... I also applied for the Collect Expertise program and got a refusal mail almost 6 weeks after I submitted my application... I also applied for a "regular" Job and got refused, even though I talked to the Manager first (who told me I should definitly apply because my chances are really good!) and my profile matches the requirements in 7 out of 8 points. I got refused during the pre-selection for this Job because my profile did not match the requirements.
By the way, the people which are in charge of the pre-selection don't no anything about the Job. They just check if you match all the parameters...
